Emoov vs Strike – Who Wins?
Emoov are something of a brand reborn. Since the name was bought by the current owners, they’ve significantly changed the model of the agency.
They now only offer an innovative ‘split-fee’ option. This allows you to pay part upfront and part on completion.
However, Strike offer their service 100% for free with nothing to pay before, during, or after your property sale (unless you go for an optional upgrade).
That means that Strike have the edge, certainly on price, though their services are pretty much on par with each other.
Whichever agent you go with you won’t go too far wrong. Both offer a reliable service that will help you get the best price for your property.
By now you’ve probably got a pretty good idea of which agent you want to use to sell your home. You’ll either be leaning towards Emoov, or Strike.
There’s one last thing to consider. Emoov do not offer in-person valuations at all. Strike do, but only in certain areas. However, we don’t feel that should sway you too much as virtual valuations are almost as good as ‘in-person’ ones anyway.
If the lack of in-person valuations doesn’t bother you at all, and you don’t mind paying a fee, pick Emoov.
However, if you’re not keen on a virtual valuation, or you just like the sound of not having to pay a penny to sell, choose Strike.
