Also, a really nice touch if you’re concerned about the environment is that they are a carbon negative company.
That means the offset their own carbon footprint, and more! They do this by planting 5 tress for every property they sell.
This is quite unique among estate agents and certainly gives them a boost if your decision is tight between using them or another agent.

How Much Does eSale UK Cost?
So, our
If you want to reduce your risk as much as possible, there’s a ‘No sale, no fee’ option priced at £1,195 inc VAT. This works much like your typical local high street agent and means you only pay the bulk of the fee when your property has successfully sold (you’ll pay £190 upfront).
However, if you want to save as much money as possible and don’t mind a little more risk, there’s an up-front option priced at £695 inc VAT. That means you save 50% on the fee but you’ll pay it even if your property doesn’t sell.
Which Online Estate Agency Is Right For You?
Answer 5 simple questions to get a personalised recommendation:
Whichever option you plump for, both packages come with the following (as standard):
- 12 months marketing
- Professional photographs & floor plan
- Listing on Rightmove, OnTheMarket, and PrimeLocation
- Viewing arrangement service
- Full feedback after viewings
- Regular performance reports
- Offer negotiation service
- Sales progression service right through to completion
So, as you can see, eSale UK offer many of the same services you would expect from your local high street agent. Plus, if you take the ‘pay up-front’ option you’ll also get the 30-day money-back guarantee.
Put simply, if you change your mind for any reason within the first 30 days you’ll get your money back. This is a really nice bonus and takes some of the risk.
You should also be aware that
Keep in mind though, like with most online estate agents, hosted viewings are not included as standard. That means you’ll have to pay extra if you don’t want to conduct all the viewings yourself.
The good news is that eSale offer one of the best value hosted viewings add-on around. For just £375 you’ll get an unlimited number of hosted viewings for 6 months. That’s exceptional value.
eSale UK Add-Ons:
As part of our
That’s not the case with eSale UK as the list below shows:
- Unlimited Hosted Viewings (£375)
- For Sale Board (£45)
- Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) (£85)
We touched on it earlier but it’s worth mentioning again, the unlimited hosted viewings service is excellent value at £375. This is comparable to the cost of other online agents but most will only give you a fixed number of viewings.
It’s also nice to see there is the option of a ‘For Sale’ board, though it would have been even better if this was included in the package as standard.
One other thing to consider, you may not need an Energy Performance Certificate if your property has been issued one in the last 10 years. You can check if your home has a valid EPC on the EPC Register. Still, at £85 extra, it’s reasonable value if you do need one doing.
eSale UK Reviews From Customers:
Was originally dubious about using an online estate agent. However I found them to be excellent. I was kept informed all through the selling process and recommend them highly. Mark and Max were especially helpful.
Mick Jardine via Trustpilot review
As a seller I can recommend esale. Their communication is excellent and I could always get hold of them easily if I had questions or for updates on progress. I saved about 75% on commission without any compromise on service.

So, Is eSale UK Any Good?
We have actually been very impressed with what we have found out during our eSale UK review. We weren’t expecting too much as they aren’t an agent that do a great deal of advertising, but we have been very pleasantly surprised.
The fact you can choose to pay up-front or on completion is always a good thing. The fact that both options are incredibly good value for money is even better.
Often lower prices mean a lesser service, but that really doesn’t appear to be the case here. That’s backed up by some rather excellent customer reviews on independent sites such as Google and TrustPilot.
In short, eSale UK
In particular, the vetting of prospective buyers, the viewing arrangement and feedback, and the sales progression is very much like you would get from any estate agent.

There are some of the things we mentioned earlier such as the need to pay extra for a ‘For Sale’ board that many online agents (and most high street agents) will include at no extra cost as standard.
While the company used to tie customers on the ‘Pay On Completion’ package for a minimum of 3 months, we are pleased to see that this has been abolished. You are free to leave eSale and try a different agent at any time.
However, you should be aware that regardless of which package you choose, there is some form of upfront payment.
For the pay upfront option, that obviously means you pay the full £695 fee upfront. But, you are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee which helps alleviate any risk.
For the pay on on completion option, you will need to pay a small fee of £95 upfront. It is this that has essentially replaced the need for the company to bind you to a minimum term. Personally, we feel it’s a relatively low commitment and so it feels like a positive change.
eSale UK Review – Summary:
Overall then, the verdict of our eSale UK review is a big thumbs up. This is a very reasonably priced online estate agent that offers an all-round excellent service.
The pricing is nice and simple. Both of the packages offered include the same things. The only choice to make is whether you want to reduce risk and pay on completion or save money and pay up-front.
The available add-ons are well-priced and that means that all of the essential services you’d expect from a traditional estate agent can be selected. There’s even a 30-day guarantee if you pay up-front and no exclusivity requirement on the ‘no sale, no fee’ option.
When we delved more into the customer reviews we found that, on the whole, past customers were extremely positive about their experiences. that’s led to an impressive ‘Excellent’ rating on
So, we have no hesitation in recommending
