Both are well-known online estate agents, but which comes out on top when you compare Housesimple Vs Purplebricks? Find out below…
This is how the key features of both brands stack up against each other.
Housesimple Vs Purplebricks – Who Wins?
At first glance, it looks obvious that the free service of Housesimple is clear winner. Yet, when you look a little closer you realise the issue is that Housesimple only serve a very small area in the north of England.
So, that means Purplebricks may actually be the default winner for most people.
However, there’s a major downside to Purplebricks too. If you choose their ‘buy now, pay later’ option you’ll have to use their conveyancing team as part of the deal.
Other than that, there isn’t a huge amount to choose between the two. Overall though, if you live in an area they service, Housesimple is the no-brainer option. Not only do they offer a better service (in our opinion) but they are also completely free. It doesn’t get better than that!
Our Recommendation:
Don’t be swayed too much by the mega-money advertising campaigns Purplebricks have embarked on, they might be the best known but that doesn’t make them the best online estate agent.
If you don’t live in an area Housesimple service and you don’t mind paying upfront then Purplebricks is an OK option, but watch out for those conveyancing fee add-ons!
If you prefer the security of knowing you won’t pay a penny and you’re in an area they cover, Housesimple is by far the better option.
